YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

  • Right to have access to your data - you have the right to ask us if we are processing your personal data, why we are doing so, under what lawful basis, the categories of your personal data, whether the data is being sent outside Singapore and/or EU, who we share your data with, how long we keep it, and request a copy of the data we are processing. If you are unable to find sufficient information in our Privacy Policy, please contact us.
  • Right to object to some processing - direct marketing, or if processing of certain data.
  • Right to have your data deleted - otherwise known as “right to be forgotten”. You can exercise this right if you withdraw your consent and there is no further legitimate interest or lawful basis in our processing of your data, your objection to processing under legitimate interests outweighs our interests, the processing is no longer necessary, there is a law that requires the data to be deleted, or the processing is unlawful.
  • Right to restrict processing - if the personal data we are processing is inaccurate, if our processing is unlawful, if the data is no longer necessary for the original purpose of processing but needs to be kept for potential legal claims, or you have objected to processing carried out under legitimate interests and we’re still in the process of determining whether there is an overriding need to continue processing.

You must not use the Koanstaff Service if you: (1) do not have the sufficient legal capacity to use the Koanstaff Service in accordance with the national laws of your country of citizenship and/or permanent residence; and (2) have not obtained all the necessary permissions and consents to perform work and/or provide services in the country of which you are a citizen and/or in which you permanently reside and/or from which you access and/or plan to use the Koanstaff service.

Special Categories of Personal Data

In order to comply with "Know your customer" (KYC) procedure requirements, we must verify your identity. This verification process includes comparing your passport or ID photo to the biometric parameters of your face captured during a live web camera session. We ask for your explicit consent to processing your biometric data by a processor of our choosing or us. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@koann.pro.

Transfers of Personal Data

Some of our partners, service providers or other parties we transfer your personal data to may be located in countries throughout the world, including outside Singapore and/or the EU. Therefore, the data may be sent to countries with different data protection laws than your country of residence. In such cases, to ensure that your personal data receives a comparable level of protection, we provide appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions and frameworks applied by the relevant Data Protection Laws (if applicable). By using Koanstaff products and services and accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to Your personal data being transferred to other countries.

When and How We Share Information with Others

In order to provide you with certain functions and services, we have to share your personal data with partners, external third-party service providers, related and regulatory entities. They process your personal data on the basis of data processing agreements and according to strict instructions, which do not allow them to use your data for any other purposes without notifying you or asking for your consent.   • payment service providers and banks (to fulfil our payment obligations); 
  • KYC/KYB/AML service providers (for due diligence purposes and to comply with applicable laws);
  • Third parties taking legal actions in connection with debt collection on our behalf (in accordance with the applicable laws);
  • Our legal, accounting and auditing service providers, Government authorities and authorized bodies, law enforcement bodies;

If you are a subcontractor, we may disclose your personal data:

  1. to customers of Koanstaff, in whose interests you are going to perform works/render services;
  2. to other subcontractors in Koanstaff service, who invited you to the Koanstaff service to create a team of subcontractors and/or to subcontractors who are in your team in the Koanstaff service.

Additionally, we may reveal your personal data to third parties if: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) to address emergencies or acts of God as provided under the law; and (3) to address disputes, claims, or to persons demonstrating legal authority to act on your behalf.

Security of Your Information

To help protect the privacy of personal data you transmit when you access and use our services, we maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data to those employees who need to know that information to provide services to you.

Marketing Communications

We may use some of your personal data to decide which products, services, special functionalities, and offers of Koanstaff may be of interest to you.
